Happy Faces, Hidden Places

Built in 1912 and restored in 1995, the Pagoda retains its original Japanese architectural design conceived from a model displayed at the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893. As a community gathering place, the Pagoda was a popular site for picnics and concerts for residents to enjoy along the Ohio riverfront.

As our Visitors Center today, the Pagoda is the picture-perfect place for us to welcome visitors and provide information and brochures on what to do, where to stay and special events going on in Evansville. Our friendly, informed staff will be happy to assist you with planning your visit.
