Vanderburgh County 4-H Fair
From clogging and singing contests to demolition derbies, the Vanderburgh County 4H Fair offers a week for everyone. Other festivities include pageants, animal shows and tractor pulls. But the highlight of the fair is always the animals.

Koch Planetarium Laser Light Show
Laser light shows return to the Koch Planetarium August 3-18 at 6:00 p.m.. Each show will feature multi-color, laser light effects and animations set to the beat of music, projected onto the planetarium dome with a backdrop of stars.

Reitz Home 21st Annual Mystery Event
In this regular who-done-it, local celebrities star in a mystery only visitors can solve inside the historic Reitz Home. Drinks and dinner follow, and the murder mystery is solved! 5:30 p.m.
Frog Follies
Since 1975, each August, the E'ville Iron Street Rod Club has put on a rod run for street rod owners. At the first event, there were 44 registered street rods. Since then, the event has grown to to an average of 4,000 street rods!
These "Froggers" provide fun for the whole family with games, activities and dances during the weekend. The automotive swap meet is one of the largest in the United States and the commercial street rod vendor area has over 600 spaces and the used parts section of the swap meet area continues to grow each year.
Newburgh Fiddler Fest
Newburgh Fiddler Fest is scheduled for August 23, 24, 25 at the Newburgh Old Lock & Dam. Complete with catfish fiddlers, as well as other food vendors and craft booths.
Music on the Hill
Next to Odonata Pond on Wesselman's nature preserve, Music on the Hill brings people together through good food, cold beverages, and musical performances from local and regional artists.
Cost: $10 per family
