IU Field School
Professional archaeologists and university students from the Glenn Black Laboratory of Archaeology at Indiana University will once again be returning to Angel Mounds State Historic Site to conduct an archaeological field school excavation on certain portions of the site.

Evening on the River
This fundraising event benefiting the Evansville Parks Foundation and Keep Evansville Beautiful will include stage and street performances, horse-drawn carriage rides, a silent auction and a "movable feast" of food, desserts and drinks from area restaurants, wine shops, caterers and grocers, presented at locations along Riverside Drive between Casino Aztar and the Pagoda. Event runs from 6:30 to 10 p.m.
8th Annual Midwest Dragon Boat Racing Festival
This family-friendly, fast-paced competition in one of the fastest growing water sports! Twenty local, regional and neighboring-state teams pitch their party tents and give their all to compete for the regatta championship on Eagle Crest Lake on Evansville's eastside. Food, inflatables and other activities are available for the family. No admission charged to come and watch the fun.
Sculpt EVV
Sculpt EVV Outdoor Sculpture Show, on display through April 20, 2014, is a national juries sculpture exhibition, with selected works on a public, outdoor display in the Haynie's Corner Arts District. Events include an art and music festival, free guided tours, a beer and wine garden at Bokeh Lounge, and Clay EVV and Inspired by Sculpture exhibitionsin the Adams Art Gallery from 4-7 p.m. Awards and prizes will be announced.
