POP!CON is Evansville's original Comic Convention and is centered around comics and Pop-culture.  POP!CON 2015 will take place Friday, April 17th and Saturday, April 18th at the University of Southern Indiana-National Guard Armory.  This is the second year for POP!CON and this year they are bringing even more celebrities than before!  Featured guests include Jerry "The King" Lawler, Jimmy Valiant, Lance Russel and many more.  The event will also feature local artists as well as Philo Barnhart the creator of Disney's Ariel from "The Little Mermaid."

Frog Follies

The largest pre-1949 street rod event in the world is the Frog Follies, hosted each year by the E'ville Iron Street Rods LTD at the Vanderburgh 4-H Center. Hundreds of street rods, games, activities, and dances. The automotive swap meet is one of the largest in the United States and is held in conjunction with the rod run. The commercial street rod vendor area has over 600 hundred spaces and the used parts section of the swap meet area continues to grow each year.

Kenny Kent Lexus Jazz & Wine Festival

The 8th annual Kenny Kent Lexus Jazz & Wine Festival features regional wineries and restaurants in tents that line Downtown Evansville's historic Main Street.  This year the event will take place on Saturday, September 19th and will go from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.  Tickets are $20 in advance (which can be purchased through Evansville's Philharmonic Guild) or $25 at the gate.  There will be live music throughout the evening on three stages set up along Main Street by 15 different bands and the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra swing band.  Gates open at 3:30 p.m.
