The Bone Zone: A Carnival of Healthy Choices is an exhibition where a carnival theme will provide an entertaining setting for children of all ages. From March 24 – June 23, Museum visitors can learn about the importance of diet and exercise and how to create and keep healthy bones. This exhibition takes place in the Evansville Convention and Visitor Bureau Center for History and Science that is located in the newly renovated area of the Museum.
Evansville Collects Contemporary American Still Life celebrates a most happy consequence of the museum’s focus on the still life genre. Beginning with the 1988 exhibition The Eye and the Heart – Watercolors of John Stuart Ingle, members of our community have become aware of dozens of contemporary realist artists from across the country; have gained a better appreciation of the substance and scope of the work by these artists; and have thoughtfully built their own collections using the museum as a resource.
The ceramics of gifted Evansville artist and educator David Rodenberg will be featured in the John Streetman Alcove Gallery from April 28 – August 25.

cMoe partners with the Indiana Heart Gallery to help children in foster care find adoptive families. The Heart Gallery will be on display at the museum May 6th- 28th. Then add the details of the special event for those interested in adopting. Indiana Heart Gallery is hosting a Family Night May 9th from 5-7pm.
Professional archaeologists and university students from the Glenn Black Laboratory of Archaeology at Indiana University will once again be returning to Angel Mounds State Historic Site to conduct an archaeological field school excavation on certain portions of the site.
Guests are encouraged to dress for the occasion and arrive an hour before the production for FREE hors d'ouvres and drinks. You will be given an alias upon your arrival for the protection of your true identity. This hilarious spoof-comedy is a perfect outing for a date night or a family activity!
