For chocolate lovers, indulge in the city's best chocolate from vendors such as Piece of Cake, Just Rennie's, Stephen Libs Finer Chocolates and many more.  This chocolate overload is paired with hors d'oeuvres, champagne, a silent auction and dancing to local musicians who know how to boogie.  All proceeds benefit the work of the Lampion Center, a nonprofit organization with a range of services such as family counseling, adoption programs and crisis help. 7-10 p.m.

This year's Fido Walk, Rock & Run will take place from 5 to 11 p.m.  The evening will feature the Fido Walk Pledge Walk; 5K run; Fun Fest area with activities for kids, dogs and their owners; the Fido 2K Fetch; an off-leash play area; micro-chipping station; great food, live music and a beer garden.

The SIC SLAM is a two-day festival surrounding the Southern Indiana Classic Marathon, Half Marathon and 8k.  The all-you-can-eat-and-drink event honors members of the military.  On tap for fun: live entertainment, bierstube and five bouncy houses. 4-11 p.m. on Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. on Saturday.

The Middle Mississippean tribe populated Angel Mounds lived nearly 1,000 years ago.  This annual bazaar celebrates the Native American culture with works from nationally recognized and award-winning Native American artists. Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.
